Those shared machines were my portal to the digital universe. Years later, when I heard about cloud computing, I froze. It sounded complicated and overwhelming. But thanks to the AWS AI for Bharat initiative, I finally stepped into cloud learning — and now it feels much clearer. Cloud is basically a rental service where you get: You pay only for what you use. No buying hardware. No maintenance. Scale up or down anytime. Built-in encryption and access control. Serve users across continents. Redundant and fault-tolerant systems. Services offered by AWS/GCP/Azure. Infrastructure dedicated to one organization. Mix of on-prem + public cloud.
